Welcome to Project Runway: Stardoll
Inspired by Project Runway
Twelve contestants compete with each other to create the best clothes and are restricted in time, materials and theme. Their designs will be judged, and one or more designers will be eliminated each week. Selected competitors are progressively eliminated based on the judges' scores until only a few contestants remain; these finalists prepare a three looks for the Stardoll Fashion Week, from which a winner is going to be determined.
The designers must develop one or more pieces of new clothing to be presented at a runway show each week. The challenges range in creative diversity to test the designers' ingenuity while maintaining their personal fashion deign aestetic. They also have to select a model to work with through the whole competition, style them from head-to-toe (Hair, makeup and accesories) for every runway show. Each model walks down the runway and the garment the contestant made is rated by a panel of judges, who score each look in several categories from 0 to 5 and often provide personal annotations and comments regarding the presented designs. The judges will then interview the six remaining designers who garnered the highest and the lowest scores, top and bottom 3, and share their opinions while listening to the designers' defense of their outfits, then confer as a group in private.
It is important to mention that the clothes can either be done in Stardoll (scenery) or graphics, but preferably Graphic Clothes, since you can really show off your creativity and you're not limited by the Stardoll bases. Anyways, if you decide to participate via scenery you must have basic graphic skills for editing your entry.
